Our annual events include Maine Maple Weekend in the spring and our Natural Fiber Showcase before the holidays. Shearing days usually occur 2-3 times per year and are open to the public. Classes, retreats, and gatherings happen throughout the year.

Pancake breakfast 8-11 am BOTH DAYS. Lamb sausage, sap tea and sap coffee available. Sheep’s milk ice cream samples from The Friendly Ewe. Farm open until 4 pm both days. Lambs in the barn, tours of sugar house with wood-fired evaporator. Shop in the yarn store. Kid-friendly.
Natural Fiber Showcase & Open House, December, 2017
We invite fiber people to display their hand made items made with natural fiber. People’s choice determines winners and an award for the best in show. Categories include: Garments, Accessories, Hearth and Home, Original Design, Local Fiber, Needle Felting, and Youth. $10 for 2 items, paid by cash or check at the time of delivery. 10 am to 3 pm, Friday and Saturday.
A great day for our fiber community to work together helping skirt fleeces. Learn about skirting fleeces and how to evaluate a fleece for hand spinning: length, softness, cleanliness, and consistency. Some fleeces available for purchase. Bring a dish to share and bring your spinning wheel, knitting or felting project.
