Natural Dye Workshop<\/h2>\n

June 23 and 24, 1 pm Saturday to three on Sunday<\/p>\n

Learn to dye wool with plants and weeds including indigo, marigolds, and madder root\"natural-dye_240x240\". Saturday we will mordant the fiber and prepare the dye pots, and Sunday we’ll be dyeing the yarn. Bring up to 4 oz of your own fiber if you like, or use ours. Take home samples and instructions.<\/p>\n

At our Weekend Retreats,\u00a0<\/strong>we welcome you to accommodations in our rustic 1850s farmhouse. You can simply kick back and relax and also connect by helping with the chores. We serve family-style, home-cooked meals using farm-raised products and local products as much as possible.<\/p>\n

Register now by calling or emailing us – $150 includes meals and lodging – to attend during the day only, please talk to us.<\/p>\n

Learn to Spin! June 21, 6-9 pm.\u00a0<\/strong> Come learn from spinners who love to spin. Sit at one of our Louet wheels and give it a go. We will help you succeed. Weaving:<\/strong> The loom is in the Tesseract with materials for weaving a sampler.\u00a0 You are invited to come see our progress and try your hand at weaving a bit.\u00a0 We’re meeting twice a month, 2nd and 4th Thursdays. Talk to us about a time to help you dress your loom.<\/strong>\u00a0 Next gathering will be June 28, 10am \u2013 2pm, Pot Luck.\u00a0 \u00a0If you have a portable loom bring it along.\u00a0 If not, try one of ours.<\/p>\n
