Spinning Outside<\/strong>
\n(Weather Permitting) Wednesday, August 19th 1 pm-4 pm<\/strong><\/h2>\n

It’s been a while since we’ve had a spinning gathering and we hope to see many of you there! We have acquired a Patrick Greene Cottage Industry Carder that we can demonstrate for you. We have a nice supply of batts and roving available, both natural and hand-dyed. Let us know if you plan to come!<\/p>\n

Barn and Fiber Sale August 21-23<\/strong>
\n7:30 am-3 pm<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We’ve recently acquired the stash of two fiber enthusiasts that includes a wide variety of equipment, ranging from spinning wheels to carders to yarn and knitting needles. Items will be priced to move! We also have a moving sale happening at the same time, as we welcome family members to the farm! We’re looking to downsize and would love your help in making sure that items (including furniture) go where they’ll be appreciated and used.<\/p>\n

As those of you who have come to see us at the Bethel Farmer’s Market have surely heard, we’re doing a zoom class on this popular needlefelting kit. Be sure to swing by and pick up the supplies necessary and pay for the class ($30), or if you aren’t local, order on etsy<\/a> and email us about your interest or call us at (207)-212-4058! Sign-ups close on August 20th to allow time for shipping of the kits!<\/p>\n

You are invited to join us for the day…learn about fleece evaluation at the skirting table, or help in the barn with the animals.
\nWe will be shearing about 30 ewes.
\nFiber sale: Spinning wheels, yarn, and miscellaneous fiber equipment will be available for purchase.
\nBring your own lunch!
\nAlso feel free to bring a project or your wheel and enjoy some time to knit, spin and chat outdoors. (Face masks must be worn and social distancing will\u00a0be practiced.)<\/p>\n
