{"id":1308,"date":"2021-06-23T21:16:46","date_gmt":"2021-06-23T21:16:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.awrinkleinthymefarm.com\/?page_id=1308"},"modified":"2021-06-23T21:31:43","modified_gmt":"2021-06-23T21:31:43","slug":"more-about-the-residency","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.awrinkleinthymefarm.com\/?page_id=1308","title":{"rendered":"More About the Residency"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Artist In Residence will receive from and contribute to the farm community in the following ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022    Approximately 6-20 hours a week of dedicated solo studio time (in the shared studio space) with access to (see attached equipment list).<br> \u2022    One day a week of learning, collaboration, production and experimentation with artist Marty Elkin in the studio.<br> \u2022    Opportunity to build a body of work.<br> \u2022    Contribute to the farm and your portfolio by teaching workshops <br> \u2022    Opportunity to participate in a local weekly farmer\u2019s market, learn about markets, help run the booth, sell your own creations, 10 \u2013 20 Saturdays May-October.<br> \u2022    Opportunity to participate in and help at least one major agricultural fair \u2013 Common Ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022    Opportunity to learn farm and flock management with Mary Ann Haxton.<br> \u2022    Opportunity to take full responsibility for the farm and care of animals while owners are away and live the farming lifestyle.<br> \u2022    Opportunity to connect with a larger artist and farmer community through visiting artists, workshops, field trips and connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022    Opportunity to create a legacy project with A Wrinkle in Thyme Farm that will expand the artist\u2019s curiosities and talents and leave a mark for future residents and visitors to enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022    Mostly private housing: enjoy a beautiful one room space that provides wifi, storage, shared kitchen and bath and easy access to the studio space below.<br> \u2022    A modest monthly stipend of $400 in exchange for an average of 15 hours per week of farm work. <br> \u2022    Access to community meals, farm grown meat and vegetables as harvested.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Areas of learning<\/strong> curriculum with Marty Elkin and Mary Ann Haxton.
